NSW student award winners

The NSW Branch Student Award has now been finalised. Thank you to all those eligible students who submitted their responses to: 'Healthcare is in a constant state of flux. Office closed for Melbourne Cup holiday

The ASMIRT National Office (25 King Street, Melbourne) will be closed on Monday 6 November and Tuesday 7 November 2017.

The office will resume normal operations on Wednesday 8 November 2017.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) to fill a casual vacancy on the Advanced Practice Advisory Panel.

One casual vacancy currently exists on the Advanced Practice Advisory Panel. The final appointment will be recommended by the panel and is subject to Board Approval.

Nominees should possess a strong interest in the continuum of competency open to practitioners, with an emphasis on educational and advanced practice issues. The invitation is open to all members currently engaged in academic or clinical practice.

Interested applicants will need to address the following criteria;

  • Current financial member of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
  • Extensive clinical experience in Radiation Therapy
  • Demonstrable interest, knowledge or experience in education and clinical practice
  • Available to travel to meetings interstate up to twice per year
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliability and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

ASMIRT are seeking a representative to participate in the ARPANSA Diagnostic Imaging Liaison Panel.

ASMIRT are seeking a representative to participate in the ARPANSA Diagnostic Imaging Liaison Panel.

This person would be required to assist in the Diagnostic Reference Level (DRL) review and to discuss matters pertinent to the future use and development of MDCT DRL’s.

This representative must be currently involved in reporting DRL's to ARPANSA and must be involved in CT scanning and dose minimisation program
