Certificate of Provisional Recognition
 
Certificate of Provisional Recognition is held by provisional members of the ASMIRT who have completed an approved programme of study.
 

From 01 November 2015, the ASMIRT is offering free certificate of provisional recognition to current student members. This is available to those who have completed an approved MRS programme and are upgrading to provisional membership. Therefore, current student members are not required to complete a Certificate of provisional recognition form.  Eligible student members will be notified about the upgrade process by email in late November/early December 2016.

To complete this upgrade process student members will need to provide the following evidence;

1. Confirmation of Provisional Registration with AHPRA (This could be an email to membership@air.asn.au advising of your AHPRA provisional registration number)

OR

the English language requirement as indicated in the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency’s English Language Standard. Please click here or visit http://www.medicalradiationpracticeboard.gov.au/ Registration-Standards.aspx  to see the standard.


2. Confirmation of your degree

  • Graduates will need to contact their university course coordinator to provide permission to advise the ASMIRT of your successful completion.
  • If your university is not providing a list of successful graduates, you will be required to provide evidence of successful completion. Examples of this evidence could be:  
    • Certified copy of your Verification letter that states you have completed all requirements of the programme and indicates a completion date;
    • Certified copy of your testamur.
