IV Cannulation Online workshop

Saturday 15 June 2024 | Online

This event is now sold out. The next IV Cannulation workshop will be on 13 July.

Join us for the next IV Cannulation and Radiographic Contrast Media course from ASMIRT.

This course is made up of several stages; including pre-requisite training, self-paced on-line learning and a practical component workshop via Zoom.

Components of the course include:

  • Completion of the pre-recorded training webinar – sent when registering
  • Successful completion, with a mark of 100%, of the post-webinar Quiz
  • Practical Workshop via Zoom – next available date is Saturday 15 June 2024, 10am – 12pm AEDT.

All necessary paperwork is supplied as part of the Training Pack mailed to participants.

Requirements to progress and achieve a Certificate in IV Cannulation include:

  • Completion of a minimum of 10 successful supervised cannulations, signed off by your supervisor
  • Sign off by a supervisor of the Peripheral venuous access device skills assessment checklist
  • Return of all completed paperwork to ASMIRT.
