Cranial ultrasound is a widely used technique for the assessment of neonatal cranial structures. Benefits for both the neonate (no sedation or radiation) and clinician (provision of prognostic and diagnostic information) in the detection and management of some neurological disease will be discussed.
Presented by Glenda McLean, this promises to be an engaging discussion. Glenda is currently the Research and Knowledge Translation Lead (Imaging) at Monash Health and Peninsula Health. She has taught the Paediatric subject in the Master of Medical Ultrasound at Monash University for seven years and has presented papers at numerous conferences and workshops within Australia and internationally.
