Looking for a fulfilling radiography role with a great lifestyle balance? Join our close-knit imaging team at Gympie Hospital and enjoy a diverse caseload, career growth opportunities, and the benefits of regional living—all while being close to Noosa and the Sunshine Coast!

Why Join Us?

Imagine starting your day with a stress-free commute—whether from town or the surrounding countryside. As you begin your shift as a sole radiographer, you’ll manage a mix of X-ray and CT patients, ensuring high-quality imaging services. A call from a colleague on their way in: “Coffee from the best place in town?” With coffee in hand, you’re ready for an engaging day ahead!

Your work will include:

  • Performing X-ray & CT scans in a medium-sized hospital with a mix of emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging.
  • Working independently while also being part of a supportive team.
  • Consulting with off-site radiologists as needed to ensure optimal imaging protocols.
  • Upskilling in IV cannulation, including access to ultrasound-guided cannulation courses.
  • Operating a Siemens Xceed CT scanner (installed in 2022).

Work-Life Balance & Career Progression

  • Enjoy regular on-call shifts, with the option for staff accommodation while on call.
  • Opportunities to expand your skills in MRI, complex CT, cardiac cath, and interventional radiology at Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
  • At the end of your shift, unwind with a swim at Mothar Mountain Rock Pools, or explore hiking and mountain bike trails just minutes away.

If you’re looking for a rewarding radiography role in a supportive team with lifestyle benefits, this is the opportunity for you!

Remuneration value up to $132,567 p.a., comprising salary between $79,051-  $116,189 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $39.86- $58.59 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (full time and/or part time positions available). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
