Apply your specialist expertise in radiography and Computer Tomography (CT) to
provide high-quality medical imagery services in Central Australia.
The Medical Imaging Services operates 24-hours and provides emergency, intraoperative
and general x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, mammography, and
fluoroscopy.
As a Senior Radiographer, your primary objective is to provide high-quality
diagnostic medical imaging services to the Alice Springs Hospital (ASH), Central
Australia Health Services.

Working with a team of medical professional and modern equipment, you will
provide advanced level leadership and management to radiographers training in
CT, which includes operational management, resource allocation, asset
management and maintaining high standards of self, team and service. You will
also assist with the hospitals ongoing commitment to Quality Assurance, ensure
safe work practices in line with the departments radiation policy and assist in the
development of strategic plans for CT services.

To be successful you require a recognised Medical Radiation qualification with
eligibility for registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with the Medical
Radiation Practice Board of Australia (AHPRA), and extensive experience in
computer tomography, including protocol development and management.
Demonstrated leadership and preceptor qualities which contribute to the
professional competence of the team is essential.

Northern Territory, with a population of approximately 33,000 people. The

natural beauty, including the MacDonnell Ranges and the Red Centre Desert.
About 450kms down the road is Uluru, a large sandstone rock formation that is a
spectacular sight any time of the year.
