The ASMIRT 2026 Conference Organising Committee is inviting members of the medical radiation sciences (MRS) community to submit abstracts for oral presentations, poster exhibits, workshops, and the ever-popular, uniquely Tasmanian Case Race competition.
Submit your abstract via the conference website.
ASMIRT 2026 promises to be a dynamic forum for professional networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. The conference will feature an exciting mix of invited speakers, peer-reviewed presentations, interactive workshops, and visually engaging posters—all designed to showcase innovation, clinical excellence, and emerging ideas across our profession.
The Committee encourages submissions from all areas of medical radiation science and invites you to share your research, experiences, and insights to help shape a diverse and compelling scientific program.
Please note: Workshop submissions close 9 September. Abstract submissions close 16 October.
Got a unique or inspiring case? ASMIRT 2026 will feature the Case Race—a fast-paced format featuring a 4-minute presentation, 4–6 slides, and a rapid 1-minute Q&A. The best presentation wins the coveted Best Case Race Presentation prize.
The Committee looks forward to receiving your submission and building an outstanding scientific program for ASMIRT 2026.
ASMIRT pre-conference workshops are either 1.5, 3 or 6 hours in duration and offer registrants a in-depth and intimate learning experience. With smaller groups and interactive components, workshops have become an increasingly popular intensive learning experience for participants. Over the past several conferences interest in workshops has grown to the point where several are sold out within weeks of being announced.
If you would like to facilitate a workshop, please review the Workshop Guidelines and submit your ASMIRT 2026 Workshop Proposal form.
