The AIR's National Office (25 King Street, Melbourne) will be closed for the ANZAC Day public holiday on Thursday 25 April 2013.

The office will resume normal operations on Friday 26 April.

Early AIR Membership Renewals 2013-14 and Saving Opportunity | UPDATE

Thank you to those members who have already renewed online early this year and saved on the planned 8% fee increase for the forthcoming membership year (July 2013 - June 2014).   The AIR Membership Department have received a substantial volume of email and telephone correspondence on this topic and are endeavouring to respond to all enquiries as quickly and efficiently as possible.  Apologies to any members still awaiting a response.  All enquiries will be attended to.

Summary of Key Points:

  • Saving Opportunity - 8% Planned Fee Increase | All members paying early for the forthcoming membership renewal year before 30 April 2013 will save on the planned fee increase of 8%.
  • All professional membership fees paid to the Australian Institute of Radiography are tax deductible, irrespective of the payment method selected.
  • Direct/Upfront Renewal Payers | most members with a valid email address lodged with the AIR should already have received an email renewal notice with QuickPay Code for fast, secure, online payment with electronic receipt.
  • Payroll/Incremental Renewal Payers | for the benefit of all those members paying incrementally/by payroll deduction wishing to switch to upfront payment and pay online before 30 April 2013 (thus saving the 8% fee increase) and with a valid email address lodged with the Institute, you should expect to receive an email renewal notice with QuickPay Code in April.   In these circumstances you should instruct your payroll office to cease deductions/payment with effect from 30 June 2013, after which point the AIR Membership Department will be in touch with you regarding any outstanding balances.  See further note below:
  • Those members paying incrementally/by payroll deduction wishing to maintain their current payment procedures may do so for the next membership year (2013/14), during the course of which a final decision will be made, based on feedback from members on the continuance of payroll deduction and the possible introduction of a Direct Debit payment option.
