Full steam ahead for ASMIRT/NZIMRT 2025

Interactive workshops

Interactive workshops are an education format that has been gaining momentum over the past few years. With each successive ASMIRT conference we are adding more workshops and gaining more participants. ASMIRT/NZIMRT 2025 is likely to eclipse any previous offering.

We encourage members interested in facilitating a workshop to please complete the ASMIRT/NZIMRT 2025 Workshop Proposal form and return it by 9 September 2024.

Interactive workshops run anywhere from 1.5 hours to a half or full day.

A special opportunity for students

Thursday’s workshops will be followed by a Student Conference on Friday 28 March.

Designed specifically to cater to students, student delegates will have the opportunity to present their work to their peers in a comfortable, supportive and safe environment.

Presenting to a larger audience, outside of the university context, provides student members with an invaluable experience if they are keen to present at future conferences.

Not all presentations need to be solely academic in nature, with case studies, professional experience and image critiques all highly valued.

The Student Conference will include invited speakers, a social event and an early careers forum, allowing students to network with peers, speakers, ASMIRT staff, board members and potential employers.

ASMIRT/NZIMRT 2025 will take place from 27 – 30 March 2025.
