JOB DETAILS 

The role:

Perform basic imaging examinations to produce images of the highest diagnostic value possible whilst using ionising radiations, both in general and fluoroscopic radiography.

Ensuring compliance with the ‘as low as reasonably achievable’ (ALARA) principle whilst using ionising and non-ionising radiation to provide images.

Details of Appointment

Multiple, permanent, full time, shift-worker positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you are available.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

  • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: 

$71,441 – $107,878 per annum, plus our employer 11.5% superannuation contribution.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

  • Please note that access to salaries beyond $83,179, is subject to application for personal progression

In addition, the following allowances are available: 

  • Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
  • Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.

Registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.

Licenced to practice under Tasmanian Radiation Protection Act 2005 and the Radiation Protection Regulations 2016.
