ASMIRT 2026 Conference: Early Bird Registration now open

Registration is now open for ASMIRT 2026, which will be held in Hobart at the Grand Chancellor Hotel from 26–29 March.

Early bird registration offers a saving of up to $150 and is available until 18 December.

The conference offers a range of registration types, for both ASMIRT members and non-members. Delegates can also access special accommodation discounts at nearby hotels during the online registration process.

ASMIRT 2026 promises a dynamic four days designed to inform, connect and inspire the medical radiation science community.

What to expect?

  • A jam-packed program (coming soon!) featuring critical and timely topics â€“ from trauma and survivorship to mentoring, clinical education, diversity and more. 
  • Inspiring Invited Speakers from Australia and overseas, sharing their knowledge, experiences, patient stories that offer real insights for your daily practice.
  • Hands-on workshops on Thursday 26 March – a full day designed to boost your practical skills and confidence (book your sessions during registration).
  • Exclusive site visits to The Royal Hobart Hospital and The Menzies Institute for Medical Research (University of Tasmania)

Accommodation at special rates

ASMIRT has secured discounted prices at a range of excellent accommodation options near the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart. These rates are available for stays before, during, and after the conference, to give attendees maximum flexibility. To access these rates, delegates must book their accommodation as part of the online conference registration process.
