RadPod episode 4: Unconscious Bias and the Halo Effect

29 July 2025

Have you ever felt like a manager was favouring one of your colleagues over you? This episode of RadPod explores the often unspoken issue of unconscious bias. Host Steve Lacey speaks with radiography clinical educators Jess Watson and Leah Grinsted, to hear their insights on creating a fairer work environment. Jess shares findings from her academic research on the topic, while Leah shares her experiences with clinical placement students and explains how mobile phone use in the workplace isn't always black and white.
