Lyndal Newmarch wins 2024 ASMIRT Board Award

Lyndal Newmarch has received the Board of Directors Award at the opening ceremony of ASMIRT 2024, in Darwin.

The Board of Directors bestow this award annually in recognition of significant and outstanding contribution to the Society.

Lyndal is a radiation therapist and current Treasurer of the ASMIRT South Australia Branch. Holding ASMIRT membership since 2002, Lyndall has contributed to a range of committees and reference groups, including the Brachytherapy Reference Group, Membership and Advocacy Committee and the ASMIRT 2024 Organising Committee.

Known for her bright and entertaining demeanor, Lyndal has a remarkable ability to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere in any setting. She works diligently behind the scenes without seeking recognition, quietly demonstrating exceptional leadership and dedication.
