Apply your qualifications in Medical Radiation Science & extensive clinical experience & play a lead role in the Molecular Imaging Department.

Your Opportunity

As a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you assist in the production and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals and perform nuclear medicine procedures in the Medical Imaging Department of the Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH), including the supervision and mentoring of junior technologists. You will also undertake laboratory procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform nuclear medicine procedures.

Working with a team of medical professionals and modern equipment, you will apply your knowledge and experience in Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography nuclear medicine (SPECT/CT), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and radiopharmaceutical production and quality control involving the cyclotron.

Requirements

To be successful you require tertiary qualifications in Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine), which allows eligibility for registration as a Nuclear Medicine Practitioner with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia. You should also demonstrate high-level interpersonal skills, enthusiasm for professional practice supervision, training and mentoring of junior members of the medical imaging team.
