This event incorporates the popular annual ASMIRT Qld Radiation Therapy (RT) Weekend and focuses on medical radiations. We welcome MRS professionals (Radiation Therapy, Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Sonography) from Queensland and beyond to come together to expand their knowledge in a collaborative and educational environment. NQ Conference 2024 delegates will enjoy a full technical program with the latest in both radiation therapy and medical imaging sessions, with keynote speaker presentations. They will also have the opportunity to attend a department tour of the MR Linac at The Townsville Cancer Centre, one of only four within Australia.
This years’ theme, “A Tropical Seachange: Where do you See-Change?”, features the latest technology, case studies and research in both radiation therapy and medical imaging. This conference will hold both combined sessions as well as breakout presentations, providing further understanding of medical radiation science.
The event will start Friday night with a welcome networking function at a Molly Malone’s on Flinders Street. The Saturday night event will be held at the Terrace @ Flinders, a bespoke rooftop casual dining experience under fairy lights, allowing all to enjoy Townsville’s first night of spring.
Submit an abstract for consideration by completing and returning the Abstract submission form by Monday 29 July 2024.
