The ASMIRT/NZIMRT 2025 draft program is out now, with up to seven sessions running concurrently in different presentation rooms. Co-Convenors Lyndal Newmarch and Amy Koskela say the conference, to be held in Adelaide from 27-30 March next year, offers something for everyone.
“Our goal was to design the program with a strong focus on practical content, ensuring that delegates walk away with actionable insights and strategies, enabling them to safely and effectively implement new techniques and ideas within their departments,” South Australian Convenor Lyndal said.
“We also have sessions on big picture elements like artificial intelligence and proton therapy, and the upcoming National Lung Cancer Screening Program.”
For New Zealand-based Convenor Amy Koskela, it was important to have a focus on practitioner wellbeing and patient outcomes.
“Divergence & Convergence/Opportunities & Focus is our conference theme. We have included presentation topics about progression into extended and advanced practice and enriching our practice to improve the patient experience. This ensures there is focus on patient centred care, enhanced outcomes for patients and wellbeing of the practitioner,” Amy says.
Please note: As a draft program, this schedule may change.
Conference registrations are currently open, with several registration types available, including member, non-member and student. Early bird pricing, which offers $150 discount on the full fee, closes Wednesday 18 December.
