Dr. Mihir Shanker is a Brisbane-based radiation oncologist with a multidisciplinary background in medicine, biomedical engineering, and health informatics. He combines advanced radiation therapy techniques with personalised, evidence-based care. Having completed fellowships in Gamma Knife and Stereotactic radiotherapy at the Gamma Knife Centre of Queensland and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Shanker is internationally recognized for his research, education, and innovation in stereotactic radiotherapy.
Presentation Title: Current Trends in Precision Radiotherapy
Presentation Synopsis: Dr. Shanker will explore the evolving clinical landscape of stereotactic radiotherapy in both malignant and benign settings and discuss future multidisciplinary trends in precision radiotherapy.
