How Bad TV Misses the Mark on Medical Radiation

22 April 2026

In an increasingly media-centric world, on screen representation shapes people’s perception more than ever, so when it comes to the MRP community, how are we represented?

Radiation therapist Tori Dwyer answered that very question in her playful, yet powerful “Binge Watching Bad TV” presentation at #ASMIRT2026.

Diving-in and dissecting pop-culture classics such as House, Grey’s Anatomy and New Amsterdam, Tori went scene-to-scene to highlight where so many of TV’s greatest hits, mislead and miss the mark on Medical Radiation.
