Navigating Care for the Pregnant Patient

The QLD Branch Committee invites you to join the Arthur Knight Memorial Meeting 2026, with the theme Patient Experience: Navigating Care for the Pregnant Patient.

This seminar will enhance practitioner knowledge on how to optimise care for pregnant patients. It is designed to enhance practitioner understanding, capability, and confidence in this field, ultimately improving patient outcomes and experiences.

Providing 1.5 CPD hours, this event is relevant to all MPRs and students.

Learning Outcomes

By attending this seminar, participants will be able to:

• Understand the personal, political, emotional and cultural sensitivities that underpin pregnant patients' experience of our care.
• Learn the key elements that need to be met for a positive clinical interaction for pregnant palliative patients.
• Describe various clinical and communication challenges that may arise for MRS practitioners and pregnant patients.
• Learn how to adapt our care to ensure that pregnant patients have the best possible experience within our departments throughout their journey
